狮城网民发起联署 吁暂禁中国旅客入境

新加坡卫生部刚在昨晚(27日)发声明,指本地再确诊一起新型冠状病毒病例。

相信是担忧上述病毒在本地散播,有狮城网民在网络发起联署,呼吁政府采取行动,暂禁止中国藉旅客入境。

有关由网民Anatasha Abdullah两天前发起联署,解释新加坡国小,使之可能容易受到流行疾病传播的影响,“我们不能等到事态严重才采取行动,在如此关键时刻,我们和我们至亲的健康应摆在优先。”

截至今日上午(28日),该联署已收集得逾9万5000签名。联署也点名总理李显龙夫妇、总统哈莉玛、移民关卡局、樟宜机场集团、卫生部、内政部等各造。

事实上亦有另一分共1万2千余人签署的声明,由网民Stacy Lim发起,也促请政府在直到疫苗研发成功前,应禁止中国旅客入境。

邻国马来西亚网民也在日前发动联署,获得逾37万网民签名,呼吁当地政府立即禁止中国公民入境马国,避免武汉肺炎散播。

马国政府也在昨日宣布,今日起暂停为来自武汉和湖北游客发放签证,并称马国政府是根据世界卫生组织规定程序以及专家意见,防堵疾病传播。

王乙康:应将心比心

不过,对于网络出现禁止中国游客入境的言论,教育部长王乙康说“己所不欲勿施于人”,我国在沙斯期间也是疫情严重的地区,国人不会希望自己被赶出其他国家。

至于国家发展部长兼财政部第二部长黄循财也知悉这类排外情绪已在本地出现;他向国人保证,政府会竭尽所能保护新加坡人,但不代表就得过度反应或接受排外主义。

黄循财此前也重申已全面禁止中国旅行社出团,从中国入境我国的人数已在减少。

昨日(27日)早上,卫生部长颜金勇和黄循财,共同领导的政府跨部门工作小组召开记者会,宣称本地机场体温检测,将在本月29日起扩大到包含所有入境航班,以及加强机场防范措施。

当局也会密切留意从中国飞抵我国的航班,由医疗团队在登机桥观察是否有乘客出现不适症状、或曾到过相关地区的乘客,也会被带到医护站。移民关卡局亦将检查和确保来自湖北旅客身体状况良好,并收集联络资料,以期在必要时便于展开追踪工作。
