海盗乘舢板 五小时内两度劫驳船

一艘拖着驳船的拖船,五个小时内竟两度在新加坡海峡遇上海盗,海盗打驳船主意,将一些废金属劫走,所幸过程中无人受伤。

本月18日早上11点29分左右,拖船Kim Hock Tug 9,正从新加坡前往越南航行,而在经过新加坡海峡航行分到通航(Traffic Separation Scheme)的东向行驶时,碰上七名海盗。

当海盗看见另一艘驳船向他们靠近时,立即乘上两、三艘舢板逃离现场,随后拖船船长也向交通资讯系统(Vessel Traffic Information System)通报。

不料在五小时后,约下午3点51分左右,七名海盗又再次上了同一艘驳船,而新加坡警察海岸卫队(Police Coast Guard)立即派出两艘船驱援,而海盗在看见警察海岸卫队后,立刻跳上舢板逃离。

目前仍未确定该拖船所遭遇的是否为同批海盗。

自今年以来,新加坡海峡共发生了三起海上抢劫事故,据亚洲反海盗及武装抢劫船只区域合作协定组织(ReCAAP)通报显示,该两起事件中,仅海盗偷走一些废金属,船员与海盗并未发生任何抵抗与受伤。

ReCAAP也表示,今年首起海上抢劫事故时发生于本月8日,当时一艘油槽British Mariner在新加坡海峡航行分道通航的东向航道上遇上海上抢劫事故。而随后两起事件则指上述的海上抢劫事故中,而两起事件均发生位于新加坡和峇淡(Batam)之间的海上。

ReCaap也建议执法单位应该增加巡逻与加强合作,同时也提醒海上的船只在行驶期间必须提高警惕。

ReCAAP在本月15日发布2019年年度报告,指去年在新加坡海峡发生的海上抢劫事件,比前年多了三倍以上,达到31宗。
