前进党增五中委 梁文辉成助理秘书长

新加坡前进党秘书长陈清木医生,在本月17日宣布增添五位中委,其中政治新人梁文辉,直接受委助理秘书长。

他是在上周五举办的前进党新春晚宴上这么表示。陈清木也强调随着新中委以及众多新成员加入,前进党不再是“陈清木党”,而是全民的政党。

梁文辉现年60岁,是投资公司总裁,前政府海外奖学金得主,也曾出任华侨证券董事经理。

该党原任第一助理秘书长李荣辉,为了能照顾女儿而辞去党职,并由梁文辉顶替。

梁文辉在致词时自称“政治菜鸟”,坦言尽管一开始感到迟疑,不过最终受到陈清木医生无私精神所动而加入前进党;并承诺将努力赢取群众的信任。

而原中委李娟(43岁)则将接替已81岁高龄的K S Singam,出任该党副主席。

其他新增的四名中委是丰隆亚洲首席执行员阮健平(Francis Yuen)、吴炳坤(Andrew Ng)、 王绍荣和Chika Tan。

民主党、工人党和人民之声党要出席

前进党的新春晚宴获得500名该党党员和支持者出席,同时民主党秘书长徐顺全、主席淡马亚、工人党前非选区议员严燕松、人民之声党领袖林鼎律师、历史学者覃炳鑫博士等人亦赴会。

民主党、工人党和人民之声现身前进党晚宴,亦引起不少人揣测,上述四党组成联盟的可能。

《雅虎》新闻报导,陈清木在受访时未排除联盟的可能,并强调该党“和所有在野党合作,并会在临选举前谈妥安排。”

他表示目前比较倾向较松散的联盟,“我们拭目以待,各政党都有各自的议程,所以必须了解如何能更好地与他们融合。”

他也承认有与其他在野党商谈,也点名工人党、民主党和人民之声等都可以是潜在盟友。

不担忧陈仲熙言论会带来负面影响

此前该党中委陈仲熙,因为揶揄四在野党组盟如“抱团防沉船”的言论而引来挞伐,对此陈清木重申,前者意见不代表他的观点,也不代表前进党。

他也不认为陈仲熙言论会对该党造成负面影响,“我想一些小波折不必担心太多”,他认为政治上难免会有风波,不必被它们弄得太紧绷。

“你必须看大局,大局就是… 同仇敌忾。”
