“泼马”法首次被挑战 不满人力部拒撤指示,民主党上诉高庭

此前,人力部长援引《防假消息法》对民主党三则文章和网络贴文发出更正指示。民主党要求撤回遭拒绝,于是上诉高庭。

民主党的上诉在今日(16日)上午10时,在高庭审理。民主党主席淡马亚、秘书长徐顺全和副主席陈两裕皆到场,民主党选择自行辩护。

在审讯开始时,民主党申请审讯在公堂审理。不过代表人力部的副总检察长哈里古玛则提出反对。

经过激辩一小时后,高庭法官洪清福认为,有关上诉并无需公开审理的特殊理由,而驳回民主党的要求。案件仍维持在内堂审理。

此前民主党认为此案涉及公共利益,且《防假消息法》也广受在野党和公民社会的诟病,更何况外籍PMET(专业人士、经理、执行员与技师)课题亦牵动国人神经,应让群众有机会旁听。

对于法官的决定,徐顺全表示“非常失望”。

徐顺全也在傍晚分享今早辩论的细节,他指人力部的图表只提供2015至2018年被裁员PMET的数据,那么2015年之前呢?但他仍引述人力部数据,指2010至2018年,被裁人数趋增长之势。

此前,人力部指本地PMET 被裁人数,从2015年的5460人,降至去年的5360人,也是自2014年以来最低的被裁人数。
