地铁南北线今早出现信号故障，致使部分列车服务中断超过半小时，通勤乘客大受影响，
业者SMRT在今早8时许，在推特发文表示，由于信号故障，导致克兰芝（Kranji）和武吉甘柏站（Bukit Gombak）之间的列车服务中断。

当局表示提供免费接驳巴士，往返克兰芝和裕廊东站。
根据网民林伟良在脸书分享的视频，只见车站内人山人海，都是在等候接驳巴士的民众。

至于SMRT直至8时49分才宣布，有关信号故障已排除，南北线列车服务将陆续恢复服务。
