选举局称提升数码服务 推出投票笔画“X”投票
选举局今日（29日）发布文告，称在来届选举将增加数码服务，除了让候选人更快捷方便提交提名申请；对于选民，则首次推出“投票笔”（self-inking pen），轻轻一按即在属意候选人的格子上留下“X”印记。
候选人可透过选举局网站，登录时输入SingPass密码填写和提交提名申请，省下前往选举局领取和提交提名表格的麻烦。
选民则可登录https://www.singpass.gov.sg/myInfo，查询自己的选民资格和个资。
投票站也将采用电子登记系统，由选举官扫描选民身份证来完成登记。
至于为何使用“投票笔”，选举局表示发现有一些年长者无法握紧普通的笔，所以改而采用投票笔，并认为将能让选民更方便使用。
选举局在文告表示在来届选举前，将展开路演活动，让选民熟悉在投入电子登记系统下的投票流程，以及投票笔的使用。
此外，该局也将向政党代表会面，展示这些新器材，并收集各界的反馈。
选举局在今年9月宣布总理已召开成立了选区范围检讨委员会。
