总投票率71.2巴仙创新高 香港区议会选举建制派大败

香港刚在昨日(24日)举行区议会选举,累积投票人数为294万,总投票率达71.2巴仙,比上届选举总投票人数高出一倍,也是区议会选举历来最高投票率。

香港区议会选举分18选区,共452议席。但此次选举相信收到反送中风波影响,民主派候选人取得压倒性胜利,在17席都取得过半议席。

此外,在现时选委选举中,区议会共有117个席位,由区议员以全票制互选产生。过往建制派主导区议会,这些选委席位在建制手上。新一届区议会将在明年元旦上任。

这意味着,港泛民派若得到过半选区,夺取117个特首选委席位,将能左右特首人选。

何君尧败选  “选民开香槟庆祝”

亲北京政府的建制派在有关选举可谓“全军覆没”,多名较知名的建制派议员都落马,如民建联张国钧、周浩鼎、实政圆桌田北辰以及何君尧,竞逐连任失败。

至于此前活跃于反修例风波的民主派、前学生领袖或政治素人,则成功脱颖而出。

根据香港电台视像新闻报导,还有选民为何君尧败选“开香槟庆祝”。何君尧此前积极站在建制派一方,倡导爱国爱港,也支持警察执法、支持政府引用《紧急法》、支持设立《禁蒙面法》、关注学生罢课等。

目前,香港特首并非由全港一人一票投票产生。根据基本法规定,是由四大组别、共1200人组成的选举委员会,投票选出特首。此外,有意参加特首选举的人士必须取得最少150名选委提名。

港特首林郑月娥:尊重选举结果

据了解,香港特首林郑月娥发出文字声明,表示“尊重选举结果”,指她留意到坊间对结果有很多分析和解读,反映市民对社会现状和深层次问题的不满,重申港特区政府会虚心聆听市民意见,认真反思。
