幼教收费 额外津贴相互调高抵消 李智陞:明年托管费将更低

本地330家学前教育中心的收费,将在明年起全面增加约35元,惟社会及家庭发展部张李智陞指出,大部分在职家庭在获得政府调高津贴数额后,所需要支付的托管费将会更低。

他在国会回答议员提问时指出,虽然学前教育中心收费增加约35元,但是随着家长可获取的额外津贴在明年增加约240元,他们所要支付的大部分学费都会被抵消。

他指出,无论孩子就读的是主要业者或伙伴业者经营的幼稚园,只要符合条件的家庭都能够申请到额外津贴。

他举例,目前月入3000元的家庭需要支付40元的幼稚园学费,但是明年的学费仅仅每月3元;而月入5000元的家庭,每月的幼稚园学费也将从340元降低到130元。

其实,人力部长杨莉明就曾在8月份的家庭日活动期间,宣布调高额外津贴顶限,让国民享有三元的幼儿园教育服务

四年增80幼儿园托管服务

另一方面,我国总理李显龙于周日宣布,作为政府增加育儿空间计划的一部分,新加坡最大的学前教育运营商将在来临的四年内,将其80所幼儿园提供全天候托儿服务设施,尤其是在榜鹅、盛港或蔡厝港等年轻阶层居住区。

他指出,已有50多间行动党社区基金(PCF)旗下的幼儿园在去年进行了有关转变。

该基金是人民行动党的慈善机构,负责经营Sparkletots幼稚园,正在扩展其课程,引入科学、技术、工程、数学、创新和企业家精神的概念。目前已有12所幼稚园使用类似的课程,明年将会推出更多课程。

在拉丁马士和新如切新开设社两间Sparkletots幼稚园,将专注于户外学习,而拉丁马士幼稚园也设有疗养院。李显龙表示,通过类似方法,能够拉近彼此,“年幼的可以鼓励和逗乐年长者,而对方也可以关注年幼一群,鼓励他们”。
