港中弹印尼记者,证实右眼将永久失明

香港上周日(29日)发起“全球反极权大游行”,示威者与警方爆发激烈冲突,当时印尼籍女记者Veby Mega Indah在湾仔采访时,疑右眼遭布袋弹致伤,最后送院治疗。 昨日(2日)其代表律师韦智达证实,经诊断后告知Indah右眼将会永久失明。

据各港媒报道,医生已向Veby表示,其右眼因瞳孔撞击破裂,将会永久失明,而永久损伤程度有待术后再作评估。据悉,目前Veby的家人也在香港陪伴在侧。

韦智达说,根据收到的第三方证据,射中Veby的是橡胶子弹而非布袋弹。

日前报导,印尼籍女记者 Veby Mega Indah,是香港印尼免费报《Suara》的副主编,当时只配备简单的眼罩到现场进行采访。事发当时,警方正在湾仔来往港铁站至入境事务大楼的天桥上与示威者对峙,现场疑似发射布袋弹,导致她右眼受伤,随即倒地,而Veby在清醒的状态下被送上救护车。

对此,警方也向记者表达慰问,警察公共关系科总警司谢振中曾称,因当时桥上有大量“暴徒” 向警方推进,在别无他法之下,警方只好发射布袋弹,对于受伤的原因暂不作评论,但他肯定并不是故意而为之。

据悉,Veby已准备向警方作出投诉。
