马国交通部:两国同意将新柔捷运项目再展延至10月31日

马来西亚交通部昨日(29日)发文宣布,马国及新加坡两国同意,新柔捷运系统(RTS)计划在无需任何附加费用之下,将再展延一个月至10月31日才做出定夺。

我国交通部长许文远和马交长陆兆福,曾于今年5月21日宣布两国将签署新柔捷运(RTS)补充协议,将该计划展延至今年9月30日。不过,马方也因此需附上60万新元的延期费用。

据了解,本次已是大马第六次展延,在此前,该项计划早前已经五度延期,分别是展延至2018年9月份、12月份、今年2月份、3月31日,以及9月30日。延期主要原因为马方需检讨该项目的可行性和成本。

据马国媒体报道,马方认为之前协议中提到的价格过高,因为搭乘柔佛往新加坡一趟是15令吉(约5新元)。

如果两国确定终止计划,马方亦需赔偿我国6千600万新元。

新柔捷运跨越柔佛海峡连接柔佛和我国的地铁线路,旨在解决两国日常交通阻塞问题,该线长达43公里,共设31站。

马方需为该计划承担40亿令吉(约13亿3000万新元)费用,其余60巴仙费用则由我国承担。该捷运原定于2024年投入运作。除此之外,马方也需面对包括征地赔偿等费用,无形中加重该国政府的成本负担。
