卫生部:准备1600万N95口罩应对烟霾

我国因近数周以来被烟霾困扰,空气污染指数一直几近不健康水平,甚至几度超过不健康水平,为因应烟霾困扰,卫生部已准备1千600万N95口罩供市场所需。

卫生部今日(19日)向《亚洲新闻台》透露,自9月12日至14日间,零售商向卫生部要求N95口罩以补充货源,目前共达26万口罩的需求量,而口罩也在零售商提出需求后的一天送达。

卫生部也曾在15日于脸书公告确保N95 口罩拥有足够存货。

“我们向民众保证口罩的供货量和政府的库存内足够供应给民众。”卫生部发文表示。

我国空气品质持续下降,已连续数日达到不健康水平。据国家环境局数据表示,截至今日早晨11点左右,我国24小时空气污染指数(PSI)仍维持在115至132点,虽然已有所改善,但其水平仍达不健康水平。

尽管整体空气污染指数已达不健康水平,但空气污染指数中仍有其他标准,其中以悬浮颗粒PM2.5浓度对人体影响最严重。

环境局亦提醒,24小时PSI指数是显示整体的空气品质,但若想要在进行户外活动的话,可参考一小时悬浮颗粒PM2.5浓度指数,该指数可较精准显现目前的空气品质。

悬浮颗粒PM2.5为何成为重要指标?大气中的超细悬浮颗粒物(直径2.5微米的颗粒物),也称为可入肺颗粒物,它的直径还不到人的头发丝粗细的1/28,对人体的健康影响最大,于PM2.5浓度高的天气里走在街上,不久你就可以通过咳嗽、吐痰,将空气中一些“粗”灰尘颗粒吐出来(直径>5微米),却仍会对局部粘膜产生刺激作用,进而引起慢性鼻炎、咽喉炎。根据2013年世界卫生组织的报告,全球3%的心肺疾病和5%的肺癌死亡可归咎于颗粒物,包括PM2.5。

由于PM2.5的颗粒物过小,多数口罩都无法过滤,因此在高度PM2.5的情况底下,才需要使用防SARS的N95口罩,但N95口罩防護效果较好,也易产生呼吸困难的情况。
