近三周18人感染伤寒 卫生部、食品局调查起因

根据《海峡时报》报导,新加坡卫生部和食品局(SFA)昨日指出,目前当局正针对近三周有18人感染伤寒(typhoid fever)起因,进行调查。






根据世界卫生组织官网简介,伤寒是一种由伤寒沙门菌(Salmonella typhi)引起的系统性感染,通常通过摄入受污染的食物或水感染。


早在本月15日(周四),在盛港和榜莪拥有四家诊所分行的医疗集团Etern Medical Group,在脸书发帖文指卫生部通知,截至本月13日在本地已累计15宗伤寒病例,而贴文也提及伤寒近几周“活跃”,而最佳的检测方式是采集粪便样本或直肠拭棉(rectal swab)。

同时,也提及该诊所也曾有婴儿个案被诊断出沙门氏菌感染。 再者,去年在盛港医院也出现相关病症的死亡案例(指Spize餐厅食物中毒导致身亡事件)。
