As of today (10 June), Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be on leave for a week until 16 June. In a Facebook post on 9 June, Mr Lee announced his leave, saying that he was ‘looking forward to spending time with family’ and catching up on his reading. “Maybe I’ll see some of you when I go #jalanjalan!” he wrote.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat will be Acting Prime Minister in Mr Lee’s absence.
