直销“套路”鹿胎素有治癌疗效 卫生科学局证“绝无此事”

卫生科学局(HSA)点名警告保健直销公司力汇国际(Riway International),禁止该公司对消费者宣传旗下保健食品有治愈癌症的误导信息。

根据《海峡时报》报道,卫生科学局日前发现,力汇国际的最近主打产品Purtier鹿胎盘素(Purtier Placenta)在推销过程,宣称产品是以鹿胎素提炼,是一种干细胞治疗方案,透过摄入药丸便能达其治疗效果。

卫生科学局发言人对此表示,目前仍在调查中。

“对于提供误导信息的产品,一旦发现有任何违反法律的行为,我们将严格采取法律行动,厂商若被发现有夸大、过度宣传或谎报药效的行为,会有被检控之虞,一旦罪成,可能会面临最高两年的监禁或被罚款最高5000新元”

直销商宣称治疗严重疾病效果佳,出现误导信息

自2017年1月起,消费者协会已陆续收到6起有关产品的投诉案件,其中3三起案件以产品含误导信息向协会投诉。

《海峡时报》指出,直销商宣称许多身患癌症、哮喘或中风的严重疾病者在服用该产品后得到好转,而该公司的收入也因产品的好销量而从2009年300万美元营收增至2017年40亿美元营收,以此向消费者证明产品的良好药效。

卫生科学局强调,针对主打干细胞治疗方案的医疗产品,民众需特别谨慎,他表示,“截至目前仍未有有力的科学证据,证明活细胞治疗方案的有效性。”

“与此同时,并无任何医学证明口服干细胞能够预防或治疗疾病的证据。基本上,当我们将干细胞服用后,胰脏内的酶素只会将干细胞破坏而已,无法产生任何疗效。”

“未有科学证明”

卫生科学局反驳,力汇国际经常引用一篇2008年出版的相关机关化验报告,证实该产品的实用性,但其实仅是该产品的一次性重金属检测,并不足以证明产品的安全性。而他们也要求力汇国际撤下相关报告,禁止在行销期间使用。

“一旦发现任何人以卫生科学局的名义推销产品的实用性,实属误导医疗信息,或面临提控,可能最高两年监禁或罚款5000新元.”

根据会计与企业管制局的记录,力汇国际自2008年开始运营,由创办人林汶锋经营,目前业务已涵盖多国包括邻国马来西亚与泰国。对此,林汶锋仍未作出回应。

杜克-国大医学院的教授David Virshup向《海时》透露,目前干细胞治疗的临床实验仍在开发阶段,故对于产品的说明感到非常忧心。

“干细胞治疗仍然在开发阶段,其安全性与有效性并未得以证明,所以并未安排上市,而更离口服药品仍有一段距离。”

David Virshup除了是杜克-国大医学院的教授,也是我国肿瘤干细胞生物计划的主席。

他说,根据研究显示,干细胞有弊多与利的可能,所以服用便宜实惠的新鲜蔬果可能会得到更好的效果,比起使用昂贵的保健食品。
