A train delay occurred this Friday (7 June) morning along the North South Line.

According to a commuters’ post on TATA SMRT Facebook,, it was said to be due to a power failure between Braddell station and Novena station.

There was no official information given by SMRT on its social media platforms, but station announcements said the travel time would take additional 10 minutes in both directions. There was no free bus service mentioned.

Ang Hwee Ling posted an information from Land Transport Guru on TATA SMRT Facebook:

It seemed the effect on the train service disruption was still experienced by passengers around 11:30am:
