2nd train delay on Friday – Evening disruption along the CCL
Another train disruption happened for the second time on Friday (15 March), this time in the evening along the Circle Line (CCL) – following this morning delays along the East West Line (EWL).
The commuters and Admin of TATA SMRT Facebook posted questions and information on the train delays:
Yongjian Koh wrote at 7:28pm: “Circle line (towards Dobhy Ghaut) is stopping at each station for 5 mins. It’s even stopping in between stations. Anyone knows what happened?”
Wayne Chew wrote at 7:31pm: “No train between Dhoby Ghaut/Marina Bay- stadium.”
Alan Charles Yap [ADMIN] shared a link to SMRT’s tweet, he wrote at 7:31pm: “[CCL] Due to a signal fault, no trains service is available between #DhobyGhaut/#Marina Bay and #Stadium. Free regular bus is available between #DhobyGhaut/#Marina Bay and #PayaLebar.”
At 7:30pm SMRT tweeted its official announcement on the CCL delay, mentioning signal fault as the cause:
