On Tuesday (15 Jan) morning, commuters along the North South Line (NSL) towards Marina Bay experienced delays and slower speed in their commute due to track fault or track inspection, according information posted on the social media. SMRT did not post any official announcement concerning this incident.

Some passengers added their information on Kathoum Kang’s post:

Anna Nemo Yap wrote at 8:27am: “Now also happen at Yishun toward Khatib.”

Hanisah Mohamed Husin wrote at 8:28am: “Traveling at a slower speed.”

At 8:42am Joanne Chua said the train still need additional 5 minutes; she wrote: “Sembawang towards Khatib. Additional 5 mins.”

No other information posted after Joane Chua’s; presumably the fault has been rectified and the service has returned to normal afterward.
