Lim Tean, Founder of political party People’s Voice, is all set to organise a rally titled Abuse of Process at Hong Lim Park on 26 January from 4.00pm to 7pm.

Announcing this news on his Facebook page, the Singaporean politician and lawyer, said that one of the speakers that will be joining the rally is Leong Sze Hian.

Leong, who is a veteran blogger and financial consultant, came to the limelight recently when he filed a countersuit against Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for the abuse of the process of the Court.

PM Lee had earlier sued Leong for defamation over a Facebook share he made with an article from TheCoverage.My. The article revealed that editor-in-chief of investigative journalism platform Sarawak Post Ms Clare Rewcastle said that Singapore is “one of the key investigation targets, alongside Switzerland and United States” in the 1MDB scandal during an interview with Malaysian media.

Lim Tean, who is representing Leong in this latest countersuit case, said that he had applied to NParks to hold a rally at Speakers Corner and he urges the members of the public to come forth in force to support this hero of Singapore.

He also mentioned on his post that more details regarding this event will be revealed later.

Upon reading his post, supports from netizens poured in as many expressed their interest in joining the rally.

However, some warned Lim Tean to be wary of the presence of police at the rally.
