Release of 2018 O-Level results and 2019 Joint Admissions Exercise on coming Monday

The results of the 2018 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) examination will be released on Monday (14 January).

In a press release on Monday (7 January), the Ministry of Education remind school candidates to obtain their results from their respective schools from 2.00 pm on 14 January 2019.

Meanwhile, private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post. The result slips will be mailed on 14 January 2019 to the address provided by the candidates during the registration period.

It also noted that private candidates who are eligible for SingPass can also use their SingPass account to obtain their results online via the internet Examination Results Release System (iERRS) on the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website from 2.00pm on 14 January 2019.

Students who wish to apply for admission to Junior Colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute, polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may do so via the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their GCE O-Level examination results, which will open at 3pm on Jan 14 until 4pm on 18 January.

The posting results of the JAE application are scheduled for release on Thursday (31 January) through JAE-IS, which is accessible through the JAE website and SMS to the Singapore mobile number provided by the applicant during registration.

The ministry noted that applicants posted to Junior Colleges and Millennia Institute are to report to their posted institutions on Friday (1 February). Applicants posted to polytechnics and ITE will receive a letter from their respective institutions on the enrolment details.
