It is always an awkward task to ask for money but I am going to do it anyway. I have been contributing articles to The Online Citizen (TOC) for many years. Through its many incarnations, it has always remained steadfast in its commitment to deliver objective and accurate information to the Singaporean public because it believes in the public’s right to information. With irregular funding, this mission is not always easy and readership support remains of utmost importance.
Terry Xu, the editor of TOC has not asked me to write this piece. I have written this on my own volition to give an overview of just how tirelessly Terry and the other volunteers at TOC work to deliver up to date and accurate news and commentary pieces.
