The East West Line (EWL) train service towards Pasir Ris experienced a short delay this morning (26 Oct), due to incomplete maintenance works, according to the information tweeted by MRT Singapore Service Information.

This 5 minutes delay has happened since last evening around 8:50pm; the MRT Singapore Service Information has also tweeted that it was caused by a faulty platform screen doors at Tampines:

The SMRT did not inform about this delay; it has only tweeted on 24 Oct that every Friday and Saturday in Nov 6 East-West Line stations from Tuas Link to Pioneer will close earlier at around 11pm.
However, there were no commuters reacted to this short delay on social media platform.
