88 persons, comprising 81 women and seven men, aged between 18 and 49, were arrested in a multi-agency anti-crime operation which ended on 17 August 2018.

In a press release on Monday (20 August), Singapore Police Force (SPF) stated that during the nine-hour operation, officers from SPF and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) conducted a series of coordinated raids and proactive checks at various public entertainment outlets located in the central region of Singapore.

The 88 persons were arrested for various offences including gang, vice and drug-related offences, it noted.
