荣誉国务资政吴作栋在国庆前夕,澄清早前的“部长薪资过高”论,表示薪资绝不是首要考量,但人才的表现和竞争力,确实反映在他的个人身价上。

雅虎新闻网也在昨日做了份民调,直至今午(89日),有1万1048人参与民调投票,评选是否还要给新加坡部长加薪?

民调列出四项选择:

1)部长薪资足够

2)部长薪资还要更多

3)他们薪资应该更低

4)部长薪资应与表现挂钩

根据当前评选结果,有57巴仙受访者投票,认为新加坡部长的薪资应该再低些。有30巴仙认为,他们的薪资应该与实际表现挂钩,意即表现多好才赚多少。

只有4巴仙的受访者,认为部长薪资不足。

根据近期新加坡国立大学做得调查,显示国人对于生活素质满意度有下降之势。当中他们对薪资水平和生活成本感到不快乐,成就感也下降。

相信这也促使越来越多国人,在面对现况和许多待解决民生课题,对部长薪资是否符合表现,提出疑问。
