A very brief train delay occurred along the North South Line (NSL) this morning (30 Jul) at around 11:30am, due to track inspection at Choa Chu Kang crossover.
This information was provided by MRT Singapore Service Information and several posts from commuters on Facebook and Twitter, while SMRT did not post any official announcement on its social media platforms.
On TATA SMRT Facebook platform some passengers informed about the delay:
Isaac Leong, at 11:37am wrote: “Brief stoppage on NSL, in between CCK and Gombak (JE bound).”
But 4 minutes later Isaac Leong informed that the train had resumed service:
Isaac Leong, at 11:41am wrote: “Train has resumed service.”
While John Robert Lee replied to the post that his train was still held at Jurong East for about 5 minutes at 11:47am:
John Robert Lee, at 11:47 wrote: “My train still holding at JE for about 5 mins now.”
A moment before, John Robert Lee had also informed about the delay on the Facebook platform:
John Robert Lee shared a post from MRT Singapore Service Information at 11:46am; he wrote: “Track inspection at CCK crossover leading to NSL slightly delay.”
On Twitter, a commuter also noted about a train delay:

But there was no other information after that on social media, it seemed the train service had resumed normally.
