国家图书馆局前经理涉受贿近60万元

新加坡国家图书馆管理局前经理,涉嫌收取一家公司总监提供的595230元贿赂,在本周一(23日)被提控上庭。

被告为48岁的许雄伟,面对多达56项抵触贪污法令的控状,指控他在2005年至2009年期间,身为国家图书馆管理局前经理,受贿数百元至数万元的款项。

涉嫌行贿者为数据资料服务公司(Database Resources Services Pte Ltd)董事长刘博文,现年49岁,同样面对56项抵触贪污法令控状。

根据控状,刘博文贿赂许雄伟,以期为前者的公司与国家图书馆管理局建立生意利益。

一旦罪名成立,两名被告都可能面对五年监禁,或10万新元罚款。检控官要求两名被告以10万新元保释,惟获辩方律师求情,最终法官各人8万新元保释,二者将在下月10日再进行审前会议。
