有交租临时被令收摊 牛车水阿伯视频引网民热议
一名摆摊老人今早如常乘公假到牛车水摆摊，不料执法单位临时告知今天不能摆摊，也没有事先通知，令老人无所适从。
网民Lee Ah Chwee为摆摊小贩打抱不平，将这段采访直播放上网，旋即引起网民议论。从早上至晚上7时许，就有900余次分享和97则评论，大部分网民都感到愤慨，不解牛车水近期没有工程、没有大型节目，执法单位不让小贩做点小生意，未免太不近人情。
视频中的老人称，如果有工程发展、政府要用到场地，提早通知他们，他们就不来摆摊。十余年来公共假期摆摊都没有问题，但是今天都已经摆好货品了，却突然来要小贩们收摊。
“只要讲得合理，我们会接受，但是先前都没有来通知我们。如果我们不对，可以叫警察来抓我们。“
视频中也可见一批灰衣执法人员，前往通知另一摊位。有网民认为应该是环境局的执法人员。
有网民询问老人是否非法摆摊，Lee Ah Chwee也回应，老人是有缴费的，每个月大概一百新元左右，也在当地摆卖了十多年。
Richard Lim认为，现在既然牛车水又不是要办什么节目，让老人赚点钱又何妨，“况且他们又有交租，摆在那儿又不碍观瞻，为什么需要那么的不近人情。不能摆摊就提早通知，等到他们把摊子摆好之后才来赶人，那么不是要叫小贩们没了收入，交通费又倒贴，情何以堪！“
杨少华认为，老人家只是做点小生意，又有给租金，应该给予体谅。再者，摆摊也是牛车水的特色之一，吸引游客。
也有网民代为把采访视频转发给环境局（NEA）面书和电邮，希望当局正视此事，为小贩们讨个说法。
