Service disruption along North-South Line, commuters warn of congestion
The North-South Line run by SMRT has again experienced service disruption this late afternoon as a tweet from HuiJun Chew at 5:48pm first highlighted the delay along the red line service from Dhoby Ghaut station from City Hall station:

Her post was soon followed soon by tweets from other commuters affected by the delay and provided more information. Some commuters tweeted it was caused by a train fault while other said train congestion.
According to Larry, train fault was announced to be at Marina South while Yinjo states that the train fault is at Raffles Place MRT station towards Jurong and that commuters should expect a 10 min delay in their commute.
As there was no official announcement from the Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT) on its social media platforms, it can only be deduced from the inputs via the commuters who are told through the on-train announcements

LTA just stressed today that "rail operators are required to inform passengers of any delays exceeding 10 minutes", yet @SMRT_Singapore remains totally silent about this. 🤷 https://t.co/7V8imyrUuS
