A Facebook user, Ling Law, wrote on her Facebook post pleaded for any information regarding her missing friend Ms Charmaine Teo Xiu Hui who has been missing since 21 November 2017 about 9.30 pm.

Ms Law wrote that her friend is suffering from family issue and stress at work and she left a suicidal note before leaving the house.

Ms Law told The Straits Times that Ms Teo has a wound on her head and was hospitalised for more than 33 days due to an infection on her head as she hit her own head repeatedly with brushes at night then applied ice to it, causing a cold burn. Therefore, she needed to change the dressing of her head on 23 November.

She wrote that Ms Teo had a fight with her mother 12 years ago then moved out to Ms Law’s house since then in Woodlands Circle and Ms Law’s mother treats her like her very own daughter.

Ms Law said that she discovered Ms Teo was not at home when she tried calling her last Tuesday night and realised her phone was not switched on.

Ms Teo isa said to have had left everything home, including her clothes, identification card, passport, bank card, ezlink, phone, and brought only small bag with miscellaneous items inside.

By the time she ran away, she was wearing red short sleeves top with hood, black pants and a black hat.

“She did not bring much things with her, just some loose cash and miscellaneous. If anyone see her, because she has suicide intention, please help to call the police immediately,” Ms Law wrote.

According to Ms Law, this is not the first time Ms Teo tried to run away from Ms Law’s house. She ran away in July this year and the police found her six days later.

She pleaded anyone who sees Ms Teo to call Police immediately at 999 and asked them not to make any contact with Ms Teo as some had spotted Ms Teo a couple of times but she managed to escape.

On her post, Ms Law stated that Ms Teo was seen at Yishun on 23 November at 7 pm around MRT station towards north point and at Ang Mo Kio library on 26 November at 12.45 pm.
