Car smashed by trailer along PIE, driver escaped with minor injuries

An accident occurred along the Pan-Island Expressway (towards Tuas) where a car was smashed by a trailer on Wednesday (19 April) at around 3 pm.
It is known that the 45-year-old driver escaped with minor injuries and was taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) dispatched a fire engine, a Red Rhino, an ambulance and a support vehicle to the scene.
Singapore Police Force (SPF) stated that no arrests have been made from this incident and investigations are ongoing.
