Singapore Post (SingPost) is releasing a new set of stamps to commemorate 50 years of National Service (NS) in the country today (14 March).
The NS50 stamp set celebrates key milestones of NS since its introduction in 1967, SingPost said in its press release.
The set includes the passing of the NS Bill in Parliament on 14 March, 1967, the enlistment of the first batches of full-time NSmen into the Singapore Armed Forces, the Singapore Police Force, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force, and the introduction of the Open Mobilisation System.

They celebrate (1st row from top) the 40th Anniversary, the 25th Anniversary, the 20th Anniversary and the 10th Anniversary respectively. Of note, the Lion Head is depicted on all stamps starting from the 20 Years of National Service’ issue in 1987.”
