LTA Video 1/4: Travel Route from KPE to Nicoll Highway/Stadium Drive

A new vehiclular underpass at the junction of Nicoll Highway and Sims Way will be opened on Sunday (2 Apr) at 6am, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced in a press release on 14 March.
Motorists travelling from Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and Sims Way can use this new two-lane vehicular underpass to connect directly to Nicoll Highway or Stadium Drive to reach their destinations.
With the opening of the new underpass, the right turn from Sims Way to Nicoll Highway at the traffic junction will be removed.
This will help to alleviate the congestion motorists currently experience at the KPE exit and Sims Way when connecting to Nicoll Highway.

To facilitate the connection of the underpass to Nicoll Highway and Stadium Drive, the existing access along Nicoll Highway (City Bound) to Stadium Drive will be permanently closed to motorists when the new underpass opens.
Motorists travelling from Guillemard Road should use Stadium Boulevard via Mountbatten Road to access Stadium Drive and Singapore Sports Hub.

To familiarise motorists with the new road network, LTA has produced a series of four videos showing the different routes they can take when traveling in the area:

The videos are also could be accessed on LTA’s website and YouTube channel.
