Massive fire raged at Tuas View Circuit with SCDF deploying 200 responders to the scene

The premises at 23 Tuas View Circuit was engulfed in massive flames on Thursday (23 February) morning, resulting in thick columns of smoke billowing to the skies, alarming members of public around the area.
According to the map, the company that located at the address is Eco Special Waste Management.
In a Facebook post at 7.18am, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) stated that it has been alerted to a fire and that firefighters are already at scene fighting the fire with water jets.
Another hour from its first post, SCDF said that upon its arrival, the premises measuring about 200m by 200m was fully engulfed in flames.
“SCDF is currently at work with 3 water monitors and 2 Unmanned Firefighting Machines,” it said.
SCDF then alerted the public to stay away from the area.

Four hours after its first post, SCDF finally stated that the fire was under control, saying, “Firefighters are now dousing pockets of fire within the premises with foam.”
It added that there were no casualties conveyed to the hospital.
