The North-South Line (NSL) that is run by SMRT had its service delayed on Friday (10 Feb) morning due to a track fault.
At 8.06am, SMRT informed via a tweet that commuters who were travelling from Newton station to Marina South Pier station to add 30 minutes of travel time.
Free regular bus services are available from the affected stations, SMRT said.


At 8.27am, SMRT post a tweet that the fault had been cleared and that trains were progressively returning to normal speed.


At 8.51am, SMRT informed that train services from Newton towards Marina South Pier have resumed.
Free regular bus services have ceased, it added.
