Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) has tweeted that its passengers of East-West Line (EWL) train should add 10 minutes additional travelling time to Clementi towards Pasir Ris due to a track fault.
It noted that train service is still available.

One of the commuters, Dong Wei, tweeted that it took him 20 minutes from Boon Lay to Jurong East.

This is the second fault in less than a week. On Thursday (19 January), EWL also experienced a train fault during morning rush hour, which caused a massive delay of more than twenty minutes and build up of commuters who are rushing to school and work.
