  • Service 129: A new service, it will ply between Tampines and Whampoa via Toa Payoh.

SBS noted that services 18 and 129 will also call at a new pair of bus stops along Tampines Central 1 outside the Tampines Bus Interchange.

Publicity posters of the interchange opening as well as route details of the three services have been put up at affected bus interchanges, bus stops and on buses to inform commuters of the changes.

According to the statement, equipped fully with barrier-free facilities, the Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange will have a boarding point and graduated kerb edges to facilitate boarding of PIW. Bicycle lots are also provided for commuters who cycle to the interchange to transfer to the buses

It also stated that commuters who require assistance may approach the staff at the Passenger Service Office. Directional signages, banners and directional maps are also available in the interchange.
