A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a fatal accident along the West Coast Highway near Clementi Road on Wednesday (23 November) morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted about the accident at 6.50am. It dispatched an ambulance.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Police said that investigations were ongoing.

According to The Straits Times, the man was trying to avoid a fallen tree branch when the accident took place. tree-fallen

On 27 October, another accident also took along West Coast Highway at the junction of Pandan Crescent where two e-bike users passed away due to a collision with a truck and another one was injured.

This accident is also the third fatal accident in less than 48 hours.

A 47-year-old man was killed by a car on Monday evening, when he tried to cross the road of North Bridge Road.

Another one happened that same day when a motorcyclist had a collision with a lorry at the junction of Jalan Buroh and Jurong Port Road. He was sent to the National University Hospital (NUH). Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.
