New Service 883 for Sembawang-Yishun to be introduced by SMRT on 23 Oct

Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) has announced a new bus service route, 883 which will be introduced from Sunday, 23 October 2016.
The company said that the aim of the new service is to serve new and upcoming residential developments along Canberra Street and Canberra Way.
Service 883 is a trunk service that will ply between Sembawang Bus Interchange and Yishun Central 2 (loop). The service will enhance connection to key transport nodes such as Sembawang and Yishun MRT and key amenities such as Sun Plaza, Northpoint Shopping Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital. Service 883 will also serve six new bus stops along Canberra Street and Canberra Way.
SMRT stated that Service 883 will operate daily from 5.30 am to 12.30 am on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 5.45 am to 12.30 am on weekends (including Public Holidays).
