At 8.18, SMRT reported that the track fault has not been fixed, therefore, passengers could expect longer travelling time along NS Line in the direction towards Jurong East.

In response to the fault, there does not seem to be much complaints from the passengers due to the track fault on the social media. Maybe Transport Minister, Khaw Boon Wan’s remark in parliament about passengers complaining got the message through or people just gave up complaining altogether.
