A fatal accident between a car and a motorcycle occured on Kranji Expressway (KJE), in the direction of the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) after the Brickland Road exit, during morning rush hour on July 25.
At 4.58 this morning, LTA tweeted about the accident and advised motorists to avoid lane 1 and 2 on the expressway.

About an hour later the post said that the accident had caused a congestion from KJE until BKE Entrance.

Then the Singapore Police Force posted on its Facebook Page and asked motorist to look for alternatives.
At 8.58, the Police reported that the line had opened to traffic.
A twitter account by name @didirynt posted pictures of the accident which showed a blue tent was placed in front of the affected car.
