Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) announced on July 13 that the China-made candy, Pakary Haw Ball had been recalled.

A small plastic chip was said to be found Inside a 80 gram bottle.

AVA said that it received the report from a member of the public on Wednesday and immediately initiated contact with the importer, Pakary FoodStuff, to investigate the matter.

The importer recalled all of its product as a precautionary measure, on the day the investigation begun

The serial number of the batch effected is pf134w15090b and the Expiry Date of September 30, 2017.

AVA also advice the public who have purchased the product not to consume it.
