A dengue cluster along Tampines Ave 4 have persisted over a month since 9 November with a total of 109 cases, of which 25 were reported in the last 2 weeks.
A dengue cluster indicates a locality with active transmission where intervention is targeted. It is formed when two or more cases have onset within 14 days and are located within 150m of each other (based on residential and workplace addresses as well as movement history)
The cluster is located near the DownTown Line (DTL) MRT works at the junction of Tampines Ave 1 & Bedok Reservoir Road.
A separate dengue cluster was developed near the area between the period of 25 September to 16 November. (read here)
