PAP announces team for Ang Moh Kio GRC, Hougang SMC The PAP has just announced their team for Ang Moh Kio GRC headed by current Prime Minister for Singapore and Secretary General of the People’s Action party, Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

The announced line-up of candidates for AMK GRC features three new additions: Mr Darryl David, a new face, and Mr Gan Thiam Poh, who has moved over Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC.

The redistricting of Mr Gan’s ward to Ang Moh Kio is the reason for his departure from his previous GRC.

Mr David is a known TV personality and became a household name after hosting the Pyramid Game in the 1990s.

Dr Koh Poh Koon, a colerectal surgeon, is the erstwhile “Son of Punggol” who contested in the Punggol East by-election in 2013. He lost to current MP Lee Li Lian

This also heralds the departure of MPs Inderjit Singh and Seng Han Thong who have announced that they will not be contesting the upcoming elections.

Mr Yeo Guat Kwang will be fielded in another constituency. The announcement was made at the PAP Punggol South Branch.

The press conference also introduced a new candidate for Hougang SMC, Lee Hong Chuang, 44, who is replacing Desmond Choo who ran in the 2006, 2011 and the 2012 by-elections.
