election departmentThe composite registers of electors for the purposes of the next general election and any election thereafter have been certified and are available for public inspection. There are a total of 2,460,977 electors in the registers.

Singapore citizens may check their particulars in the registers:
(a) Online at the Elections Department website;
(b) At community centres/clubs (CCs);
(c) At Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration
centres as listed below; and
(d) At the Elections Department.

All checks at CCs, overseas missions and the Elections Department can only be made with your NRIC or passport.

Those whose names were removed from the registers of electors for failing to vote at a previous election (known as non-voters) may apply to have their names restored to the registers, so that they can vote at the next general and subsequent elections.

The Elections Department has encouraged them to apply early to restore their names to the registers, which can similarly be done at the Elections Department, community centres and clubs, overseas missions.

Singaporeans who are overseas and whose names are listed in the registers of electors and have resided in Singapore for an aggregate of at least 30 days during the 3-year period between 1 Feb 2012 and 31 Jan 2015, and who wish to vote at one of the designated overseas polling stations, are encouraged to register as overseas
electors early via the above mentioned channels, if they have not done so.

Applications for restoration of names and overseas electors will close once the Writ of Election is issued.
