Yet another high record set for COE of motorcycles

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) for Motorcycles has broken new record again in the COE bidding exercise yesterday at $6,801, breaking the previous record of $6,312 (1st Bidding Exercise of April 2015) by almost $500. Previous high was $5,800 from the bidding exercise just two months ago.Two years ago, the average price of motorcycle COEs was $1,757 in 2013.

Besides the COE for motorcycles, categories A, B and E have seen their prices increase consecutively in the last three bidding rounds.

Category C, goods vehicle and buses on the other hand has seen a sharp drop of 17% from $64,001 to $53,001 from the previous bidding exercise.
