COE announcement for January 1st bidding exercise
The price of Cat C, Commercial vehicles COEs have risen by about three thousand dollars to $55,011, which stands at 73% of the COE price of Cat B luxury cars.
The price of Cat A COEs have risen by about $200 to $66,010, which stands at 88% of the COE price of Cat B luxury cars.
The price difference between a mass-market car COE and a luxury car COE stands at $9,279.
Whether the price for Cat C would rise further will have to depend on the quotas to be announced by LTA this month for February – April.
