(John Lennon tried to persuade Airily there is no such thing as heaven. The former was singing whilst the latter was shouting.)

John Lennon: Imagine there’s no heaven.
Airly: You are weird. Apparently you think people like me live like paupers. Come to think of it there is no one like me. Correction: Maybe only my sons and daughter. In a sense you may be right; there is no heaven for the rest.
John Lennon: It is easy if you try.
Airly: Look here! I told you already. I don’t have to try. Heaven, I am already living it. For the rest they don’t have to try too. They know their place in life. There is no heaven: only hell.
John Lennon: No hell below us.
Airly: Idiot! What do you imagine are the lives like of those below me and my family? A bed of rose?
If there are no heaven and hell then how can I promise it. How on earth do you think I got to be where I am today without promising it?
John Lennon: Above us only sky.
Airly: No skive! Why do you think I joined politics? And you think all my colleagues joined me for their health? When is the last time you watched a parliamentary session in action? Inaction! Get it? You dumb ass!
(John Lennon trying to persuade Airily he should live for today and not worry too much about tomorrow)

John Lennon: Imagine all the people living for today.
Airly: And that is the trouble with you Westerners. Only interested in the here and now. Never thinking of the future. We should save and save for a rainy day: I mean you should save and save for a rainy day.
If I allowed my people to start imagining otherwise who knows what else they will imagine. They may stop saving for the future and want their money back now. Or, they may imagine my life is heaven and theirs is hell.
So for goodness sake stop asking my people to imagine things.
(John Lennon tried a different tact and asked Airily to consider a world without borders)

John Lennon: Imagine there’s no countries.
Airly: There you go again you crazy idealistic fool. There will always be countries or fiefdom or whatever names you choose to call it. And it will always be ruled by the strong: the meek and weak shall submit to the will of their superior. It is their lot in life.
None the less it is my duty to ensure that the meek shall never inherit the earth. It is the least I can do for them. It is a win-win situation. With property prices this high if the meek starts to inherit the earth where would this leave the rich who took great risk to get to where they are? It would destroy the very fabric and foundation of our society which thrives on meritocracy for the rich.
No Sir, the meek shall inherit hard work and a lifetime of toiling in the sun trying to make hay while it shines.
(Airily got upset when John Lennon make light of the ease of doing things)

John Lennon: It isn’t hard to do.
Airly: Not difficult to get these clowns to submit to my will? You are loony! Do you know how economical I have to be with the truth to get to where I am today?
(John Lennon believed there is nothing that is worth killing or dying for)

John Lennon:
Nothing to kill or die for.
Airly: There is plenty to kill for. And I don’t have to kill you physically to fix you. I can kill you financially and make you crawl. That is even better because I can then watch you live a life of regrets and sorrows. As they say one doesn’t appreciate one’s good fortune until he witnessed another’s misfortune.
The dying part I must agree with you. I am not the suicidal type. I am always willing to make pacts with my enemies to survive. Hell, I will make a pact with the devil if necessary to survive and if that will make my life easier.
(John Lennon wants to dispense with religion and this got Airily really riled)

John Lennon: And no religion too.
Airly: What! No religion! Impossible! Look around you. There are all manners of persuasion and beliefs. The trick is to start your own religion. And my religion is all about the father, son and the holy goal: to be the lord and master of all before us.

(John Lennon the peace loving man wants everyone to leave in peace)

John Lennon: Imagine all the people living life in peace.
Airly: Can you please stop with your imagining bit? It is getting quite tiresome and becoming quite dangerous. In fact it is outright seditious. I can lock you up permanently as a terrorist or communist or whatever label I choose to affix on you under my laws and throw away the key. There is no such thing as living a life in peace as far as I am concerned. Who will be doing the donkey work and heavy lifting if everyone thinks like you?
No sir, my people are quite happy to slog and slave away even there is never a day of peace in their lives. They believe in the future I am painting for them.
(John Lennon is accused of being a dreamer)
John Lennon: You may say I’m a dreamer.
Airly: Yes you are. Definitely! Typical lazy Westerner out to enjoy life when it is not your station to do so. Only people of higher intellect and good genes is entitled to it.
John Lennon: But I’m not the only one.
Airly: Hey stop pointing finger. This is not about me and my family. We deserve our lot in life. We have superior genes! What have you got? Me and my family have every right to dream away.
(John Lennon wants Airily to join him)
John Lennon: I hope someday you’ll join us.
Airly: Join you? Never! Our world can never be the same. We have superior genes. We are more equal than you.
John Lennon: And the world will be as one.
Airly: In your dreams! There will always be chaos, strife, conflicts, disputes, wars, etc. It is human nature to quarrel over the least disagreements. And it is my job to make sure the world is never perfect or else I am redundant.

(John Lennon asked Airily to imagine a world without materialism)
John Lennon: Imagine no possessions.
Airly: You must be joking. After spending all my life acquiring power just so that I can acquire great wealth you want me to give it away? You are mad! Don’t you know I never give away anything that is mine.
John Lennon: I wonder if you can.
Airly: Of course I can. If I can’t who dares to say they can.
(John Lennon wants to do away with greed and hunger in a world that is more caring and sharing)
John Lennon: No need for greed or hunger.
Airly: Greed is good in the right hand. In the hands of superior beings once they are immensely rich there will be trickle down economic benefits to the rest. And if that doesn’t work there will be tricks: down to economic benefits for the rest. Hunger? I don’t know the meaning of this word.
John Lennon: A brotherhood of man.
Airly: Like I told you before I have superior genes and there is no possibility all those dumb and daft people can be related to me in any way.
John Lennon: Imagine all the people sharing all the world.
Airly: No way I will share anything with anyone! You can forget it. I have more to share and it is not fair to me after all these years of hard work accumulating my wealth. I will never part with it even if I am dead.
(John Lennon acknowledged that he is a dreamer but claimed he is not the only one)
John Lennon: You may say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.
Airly: For once I agree with you. You are a dreamer. But I sure hope you are the only one. And just to be sure I am going to legislate ‘imagine’ or the act thereof as a crime punishable by life imprisonment at the first instance. This will stop this nonsense of imagining things that are detrimental to my financial health.
(John Lennon made another futile attempt to get Airily to join him)
John Lennon: I hope someday you’ll join us.
Airly: Join you! Join you in hell? You are more cuckoo than I thought. I create the world of hell for people like you.
John Lennon: And the world will live as one.
Airly: Me in heaven and you in hell is one world? With no disparities? All men are equal and all that craps? Keep dreaming!
