Short films are a ground breaking, inclusive and accessible platform for exciting and engaging story telling. Yahoo has collaborated with Viddsee, an online video platform for curated, quality micro-cinema content to bring short films to the forefront.

This partnership will help showcase award-winning short films by local independent filmmakers across Asia. The short films will be made available to Yahoo users through a dedicated Viddsee “Asian short films” channel on Yahoo Entertainment site.

义顺集选区议员李美花上月27日,因在国会分享“阿公和阿成”小故事引起网民炮轰,故事一举成名,近日更被拍成真人版温情短片,再次引起网民关注。 李美花当时在财政预算案总结部分指出,政府谨慎理财,所以才有财政盈余,才能够推出多个配套造福人民。之前,她就用了“阿公和阿成”的故事作为开端,故事主要讲一名阿公省吃俭用,每次他的孙子,阿成有需要时都会给他一笔钱,但是阿成就问阿公为何不每年都给他钱时,阿公非常错愕和生气,大骂阿成是“死鬼仔”、“败家子”,不懂得感恩。 李美花这一小故事立刻引起国民的不满,甚至反问李美花,谁是阿公?谁是阿成?为什么要骂人“死鬼仔”、“败家子”等。 本地一家以搞创意闻名的公司Lupsup,就地取“经”,将故事拍成了真人版短片,在17日上载到脸书上,并在短片下写到,“美花剧场(Bee Wah Stories)-阿公与阿成。你是否觉得现在所得都是理所当然?你是否忘恩负义?LUPSUP为你呈现阿公与阿成的暖心故事。灵感来自花姐的深思。” 该短片采用了李美花在国会中的原声作为旁述,画面中,一名小孩玩着纸飞机,坐在有一名穿着背心的老人所推的手推车上。老人将好吃的都给小孩吃,衣服破了自己补,然后都会把钱存在铁盒子里,放在床下。小孩渐渐长大,老人都会拿出铁盒子里的钱,包红包给小孩,如小孩上大学时、出国参赛时和做生意时等。在最后,长大的小孩在和老人用餐时,就问了老人,为什么三五年才给一次钱,不能每年给。老人的反应激烈,甚至抓着胸口,大骂“死鬼仔”、“败家子”等。 短片结尾时写着,“请别做一个忘恩负义的混蛋,阿公”。 整部短片拍摄手法细腻走温情路线,上载至今已经吸引了3万人去点阅,400多人转发。 制作人:对李美花故事产生共鸣 值得一提的是,Lupsup公司曾帮助政府制作一些宣导影片,概括范围包括了香烟课题、假新闻的祸害等。 据了解,该公司在接受《联合晚报》采访时,表示不愿透露身份,指出短片是公司作品,没有受到任何一方委托制作,耗资五位数。…
