RTS The Three Musketeers (1)
Even though news about the effects of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines has died down, its devastating effects are still being felt by the community. Three elderly retirees whose combined age is more than 200 years (65, 72, and 73) will attempt to ride over 2000 kilometres from Bangkok to Singapore to raise funds for the victims. They call themselves Mr Trek, Mr Seven, and Mr Giant. It is dedicated to those who have lost their families, relatives and home to the typhoon.
The three have known each other for about two years and became good buddies through cycling and trekking. They come from very different backgrounds; the youngest at his current age of 65 years old was a chef in a high-end restaurant before retirement. The other two was a shipping executive who is now at 72 years old and former civil servant who is the oldest at the age of 73 years old.
They feel blessed with abundant fitness to be able to remain physically active in their golden years, and hope to inspire others to lead a similar lifestyle and enjoy life the way it should be.
All funds raised will go to HOME to help Filipino workers in Singapore whose families are affected in the following ways:

  1. Missing person support (help find relatives in the disaster area)
  2. Getting home support (help obtain permits and payment for air tickets)
  3. Financial support for immediate needs
  4. Counselling for those affected y the trauma

The three men will pay for all expenses and none of the funds raised will be spent to support their ride. Be part of this worthy cause by sponsoring them!
