NSP elects its 15th CEC in OPC meeting

National Soliardity Party (NSP) has elected its 15th Central Executive Committee (CEC) in its Ordinary Party Congress Meeting held on Sunday, 28th April 2013.

The newly elected committee in their respective positions are;

President : Sebastian Teo

Secretary General : Hazel Poa

Council Members :    Cheo Chai Chen

Hon Ting Huat

Ivan Yeo

Jeannette Chong

Nazryn Azhar Samat

Nicole Seah

Raymond Chua

Reno Fong

Spencer Ng

Steve Chia

Syafarin Bin Sarif

Tony Tan

Yip Yew Weng

There are some change of members in the 15th CEC from its previous 14th committee. Four previous members in the 14th CEC; Kwan Yue Keng, Tan Chee Jien, Gan Theng Wei and Noraini Bte Yunos have been replaced with Cheo Chai Chen, Hon Ting Huat, Nazryn Azhar Samat and Spencer Ng in the newly elected 15th CEC.

Ms Hazel Poa,the elected Secretary General said in the press statement released,

“The new CEC is good blend of experience and youth. Since the last election, the NSP has been a big part of the national policy conversation and we intend to remain so while making preparations for the next general elections. We remain committed to working with the government and other political parties for the betterment of our society.”

The 15th CEC will be meeting in two weeks time to appoint the heads of subcommittee and to set its agenda for its two year term.
