PRESS RELEASE

The ASEAN Human Rights Declaration (AHRD) is going to be a very important human rights document for the people in
ASEAN.

Civil Society is engaged, giving feedback. Yet there are questions on whether the AHRD can fulfll people’s rights. In some ASEAN countries CSOs are petitioning against the proposed AHRD.

It is important for CSOs in Singapore to be engaged in this regional human rights document.

The consultations are over.

Come November ASEAN governments will adopt the ASEAN Human Rights Declaration.

Come and know how your interests will be met through this document.

Know your rights.
